Mike Halliday
Having over 25 years industrial service with Blue Chip multi-national companies I have extensive experience including: product development from laboratory bench to production; process design, development and commissioning; computer control and automated data management; environmental and safety management; exercised through the aerosol, food, detergent and chemical industries.
As a safety consultant for over a decade I have regularly provided COMAH, DSEAR and ATEX advice to high profile clients on hazard risk assessment, hazardous area classification, electrostatics, thermal stability and project implementation for food, beverages, pharmaceutical, minerals, metals and detergent companies. I have provided expert technical advice in legal disputes, compliance matters and with competent authorities. I have experience in advising clients in relation to aged and previously owned equipment in respect of current best practice.
Paul Dewhirst
Prior to consulting I gained a wide range of experience including design, project engineering, plant support and operational management roles gained in the aerosol, agrochemical, food and chemical processing industries. My background provides a practical appreciation of the challenges currently faced by industry, and a pragmatic outlook on problem solving.
After 21 years working in industry I moved into safety consultancy around 10 years ago, working with clients in a wide range of industries including food and drink, brewing, distilling, flammables warehousing, ink manufacture, aerosols, minerals, metals, biogas, chemicals and pharmaceuticals in the UK, Europe, North America and Africa.
